The ___ ___ Project

I don't know what it's going to be, I don't know how hard I'll work at it, but I've got this space so I'll use it to expand on my favourite subject, me! Me, and how I fit into this crazy, fucked-up world. I'm sure I'll incorporate my doodles and my pursuance of drawing with imagination; my interest in sharks and other wildlife; my family; my friends; being discrete of course; work; love; health; opinions on world affairs and other.
So, look forward to seeing something here soon. I look forward to sharing what I think and feel and what happens to me, and look forward to hearing from you all maybe.
Thanks,
Bruce the Great White Shark

Nothing But Blue

Imagine a dry desolate island of high cliffs and vertical drop offs, surrounded by a body of salt water, the biggest body on earth, the Pacific Ocean. You're on a 72ft yacht anchored a few hundred metres from the shore, but you won't be setting foot on the island. Prisoners were once left here. Only seals live here now...on the island. Something else lives around it. But there's so much water, it's unfathomable...how many cups, I can't imagine. From the surface, the ocean looks like any other large body of water, wavy, dark, and reflective.
Now imagine fixing a breathing hose to your mouth, dipping your toes into the cold water, and submerging yourself into a small, underwater room of bars. You are not made to live in this medium. Your sense are compromised. Although sound travels 4 times faster in water, your ears are exposed to unusual sounds...mostly bubbling water and clangs of your underwater room of metal bars. Your vision is highly compromised as you can see but a fraction of your ordinary field of view through the glass of your mask. You were not made for this medium. Comparatively, you are clumsy and slow witted. Your are lucky you are in a cage, for there is something in these clear blue waters that is nothing but grace and instinct.
